VISUAL ARTS AT CONCORDIA

Art class is an integral part of a well-rounded school experience. When students create, their brains make new connections. Students are encouraged to use visual expression, color, sculpture and design to explore concepts of art. Elementary students experience working with paint, clay, paper and other elements to create both two- and three-dimensional art pieces.  In middle school, art is an elective. Students can choose advanced drawing and painting to extend skills in those areas, or mixed media art to create and experiment with many different materials.
