ENCOURAGING STRONG CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP

STUDENT COUNCIL

​Our students begin developing leadership skills in fourth grade through Student Council. Our Student Council helps make decisions throughout the year, including themes for Red Ribbon Week, Lutheran Schools week and other celebrations. Additionally, these student leaders help with daily announcements and flags. Student Council includes four students from each grade 4th through 8th, along with a group of officers. 

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

​Concordia has an active chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Qualifying students in middle school are invited to become members of NJHS.  Membership is offered to those students who have demonstrated academic success in all core subjects, personal integrity and selfless service. NJHS students help with daily announcements and flags and support school events.

Both Student Council and National Junior Honor Society engage in service to the community several times each year.
